I will have to disagree with you on some points. I didn’t mind his talking more but he did have a challenge – he almost did not survive the confrontation with the sandmen. He would not have if it hadn’t been for the pure blood gal. And I think this role was made to make Conan more palatable for the masses, in hopes to be a big draw against the superhero movies that are swarming the theaters now a days.

Omar and our friend Chiz agreed the biggest issue was that he was too nice. In the books, Conan is a major bastard. For me, I didn’t mind the changed. I loved the fight scenes with total glee. But the boys said its not a Conan story with out the zombie sex (read the books – they are awesome).

Rose McGowan’s role should of been played by someone who could act, she was the biggest issue for me other then, there was no reason this movie should of been shown in 3D.

Momoa was a perfect barbarian and great for this role. I really have no desire to watch the Arnold one anymore because his portrayal seems too stiff and dry for me in the role of Conan.
